Mendicino: Afghan refugees will be in Canada within days, weeks from Pakistan

Ottawa – Canada’s immigration minister Marco Mendicino has said the  country has now helped more than 140 Afghans make their way overland to Pakistan, and are given special Canadian visas. Sources say refugees will be reach Canada within few weeks. These people are moving from Khyber Pass, a mountain pass on the border of Pakistan and Afghanistan, to enter Pakistan. According to the minister’s office, most of these refugees are Afghans who aided Canada’s military in the 2000s.
